Pricing for Solid Waste

Pricing is based on the cost to responsibly dispose or recycle. If there is a market for reusing the waste, we lower the price.

There is a $15.00 minimum charge on the following materials (not including tax):

  • Garbage: 8.25¢ per lb. ($165/ton)

  • Clean Wood: 6.25¢ per lb. ($125/ton)

  • Yard Waste: 5¢ per lb. ($100/ton)

  • Dirt & Sod: 3.5¢ per lb. ($70/ton)

  • Concrete: 2.75¢ per lb. ($55/ton)

  • Metal: 2¢ per lb. ($40/ton)

The following prices are per item and do not include tax:

  • Washer/Dryer: $10.00 each

  • Stove: $10.00 each

  • Dishwasher: $10.00 each

  • Hot Water Tank: $10.00 each

  • Propane Tank: $10.00 each

  • Fridge/Freezer: $40.00 each

  • Passenger Tire: $10.00 each

  • Semi Tire: $20.00 each
