RDS does not accept any liquids.

We do not accept oil-based paint because it is considered toxic. Please please call Whatcom County's Disposal of Toxics at (360) 380-4640 for information regarding disposal of oil-based paint.

HOWEVER, if you have latex or water-based paint, it MUST be solidified before you can be disposed of at RDS.

You can mix kitty litter or sawdust with the paint and leave the lid off until it dries out. Once dried, bring it into RDS.
